WPCSS Albert Goldsmith Award for Local History Exhibit

A major goal of the Council is to promote the study of Local History. To further this aim the Council annually presents the Albert Goldsmith Award for the outstanding exhibition by an individual student  in each division, Junior and Senior, that focuses on local history.

Like politics, all history is local.  We wish to remind students who plan to enter an exhibit that a good place to start is their own back yard.  Look around your neighbor hood for something to investigate.  Connect the dots and find what ties your topic to our local area or your home town?

The award consists of a certificate for display and a check to purchase a savings bond to help save for future schooling.
